A tournament beyond trophies
American Family Insurance, the PGA TOUR Champions and PGA TOUR player and Wisconsin native, Steve Stricker, created the American Family Insurance Championship in 2016. Since its inception, the championship and associated events have raised nearly $20 million for the American Family Children’s Hospital and hundreds of other charities.

The American Family Insurance Championship in Madison, Wisconsin brings together 76 of the top PGA TOUR Champions players. The star-studded field of U.S. and international golf legends includes major champions, Hall-of-Famers, and past champions. The final field is set a week before the tournament.

TPC Wisconsin
The 2025 American Family Insurance Championship will be held at TPC Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. After opening Aug. 1, 2023, TPC Wisconsin offers a one-of-a-kind midwestern golf experience. Designed by Ryder Cup Captain Steve Stricker and PGA Head of Design Steve Wenzloff, it will be an instant classic and a sure bucket-list golf experience for players and fans.

The American Family Insurance Championship – also known as the AmFam Champ – is a premier annual PGA TOUR Champions tournament and community celebration in Madison, Wisconsin. The tournament has crowned legendary champions, including Madison’s own player/tournament host Steve Stricker.

Jerry Kelly wins the AmFam Champ in a sudden death playoff shooting a -15 and total score of 202 over Steve Stricker and Retief Goosen.
2018 Highlights
Scott McCarron won the 2018 AmFam Champ shooting 15-under par with a total score of 201. Jerry Kelly placed second at 14-under par.

Fred Couples shot a 15-under par and total score of 201. Scott Verplank (-13) placed second and Steve Stricker (-12) finsihed third.
2016 Highlights
Kirk Triplett won the inaugural AmFam Champ with a remarkable 17-under par and total score of 199. Bart Bryant (-15) and Mike Goodes (-15) tied for second place.
