Sunday Recap: Bjørn and Clarke win 2025 AmFam Champ

Entering the final day atop the leaderboard, the pair of Thomas Bjørn and Darren Clarke held firm through the finish to win by four strokes and capture the 2025 American Family Insurance Championship at TPC Wisconsin on Sunday.

Bjørn and Clarke shot 32-under-par over the 54-hole event, securing the team title with a final round score of 7 under. This year’s tournament included a unique team format with pairings playing best ball in Rounds 1 and 3, and scramble in Round 2.

“I think the format is great,” Bjørn said. “For the players, it’s great to do something different for once. We play enough on our own and this is a nice, different week. I think that everybody has enjoyed themselves and doing something different.”

“The course has been great,” said Clarke. “Everything we could ask for in a tournament. It is perfect here at TPC Wisconsin.”

There was a four-way tie of teams in second place at 28 under. Alex Cejka and Søren Kjeldsen posted the low round of the day, carding a 12-under-par. Doug Barron and Dicky Pride shot 11 under, while Steve Flesch and Paul Goydos carded a 7 under. Tournament host and 2023 event champion, Steve Stricker, along with his partner Mario Tiziani – who began the day in second place – shot a 6 under on the round.
