Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation accepting grant applications for 2025 American Family Insurance Championship proceeds

(Madison, Wisconsin) (August 13, 2025) – The venue may have changed, but the American Family Insurance Championship enjoyed another successful tournament week at its new TPC Wisconsin location in 2025. And beginning today, the American Family Insurance Championship and Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations to be considered for grants from this year’s proceeds. Applications may be submitted via this grant portal.

All nonprofit organizations are eligible, with preference given to those that have a strong focus on families and children and/or serve communities in southcentral and southeastern Wisconsin.

Since 2016, the event has raised $19.7 million distributed via 1,010 grants to the American Family Children’s Hospital and other local charitable organizations. This year’s proceeds will add to those totals and will be announced on November 18.

“We encourage local charitable organizations to apply for a grant from the 2025 American Family Insurance Championship proceeds,” said Nate Pokrass, tournament director and executive director of the Foundation. “Our tournament’s objective has always been about benefiting the community through support of nonprofits. We look forward to doing the same with this year’s proceeds and we’re excited to add to our overall impact year after year.”

Applications accepted through September 10

The deadline for application submissions is 4 p.m. central on Wednesday, September 10. Applications will be reviewed by the Foundation board, with grant recipients announced on November 18 at the annual grant proceeds event at American Family’s national headquarters in Madison.
