provide $10,000 scholarships to two students

The Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation announced today the recipients of scholarships for two area high school seniors: Roland Kahl of Madison East High School and Reagan Raemisch of Waunakee Community High School.

Since 2019, the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation has committed to funding scholarships for local high school students. Each year, two deserving local high school seniors who meet certain criteria and live in the Wisconsin counties of Dane or Rock are awarded scholarships to help reach their educational goals. This year’s recipients will each receive a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500 per year up to a total of four years).

2025 recipients

Roland Kahl is a 2025 graduate of Madison East High School. He is on the golf team as well as vice president of the French Club, and founded the Pickleball Club. This summer will be his fourth year caddying at Maple Bluff Country Club. He will be attending UW-Madison in the fall.

A 2025 graduate of Waunakee Community High School, Reagan Raemisch will be attending UW-Madison in the fall pursuing a degree in interior architecture. She was involved in golf all four years of high school, as well as track and field, student council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Reagan says she is very grateful to be a recipient of the scholarship as she begins her college studies.
