Public can sign up to volunteer for year nine of the PGA TOUR Champions golf event in Madison being held at new location, TPC Wisconsin
Volunteer registration for the ninth PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship is now open and the public is invited to sign-up to volunteer. Those interested can learn more about the AmFam Champ volunteer program and register today from the tournament website.
The tournament and accompanying events will take place June 2-8, 2025, at a new location in Madison – TPC Wisconsin. The course was co-designed by Steve Stricker, who continues as player/host for the event. The tournament will also have a new team format in 2025.
Annually approximately 1,000 individuals representing 16 states have volunteered at the American Family Insurance Championship and are critical to the success of the event. Watch this video to learn why volunteers enjoy being part of the AmFam Champ.
For a $80 registration fee, volunteers receive:
- An American Family Insurance Championship shirt, jacket, hat, pin and drawstring backpack.
- Guest tickets.
- Complimentary meals during volunteer shifts.
- A volunteer credential and lanyard (valid all week).
- A volunteer parking pass (valid all week).
Please note: Travel and lodge expenses are not included.
All proceeds from the AmFam Champ are donated to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. Since the inaugural event in 2016, the American Family Insurance Championship has raised more than $17 million distributed to the American Family Children’s Hospital and via 800 other charitable grants to nonprofit organizations.
More will be added to that total as Steve Stricker announces the proceeds from the 2024 AmFam Champ on Tuesday, November 19, at an event at American Family national headquarters in Madison.
