Volunteer registration is now open for 2024 American Family Insurance Championship

Volunteer registration for the eighth PGA TOUR Champions American Family Insurance Championship is now open and the public is invited to sign-up to volunteer. Those interested can learn about volunteer opportunities at www.amfamchampionship.com and sign-up at this link: Volunteer registration

 

The tournament and accompanying events will take place June 1-9, 2024 , at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin. Steve Stricker (the tournament’s defending Champion) continues as player/host for the event.

 

Annually more than 1,000 individuals representing 14 states have volunteered at the American Family Insurance Championship. Volunteers are essential to the success of the event.

 

For a $80 registration fee, volunteers receive:

  • Official tournament uniform: shirt, jacket and choice of hat
  • Commemorative tournament lapel pin
  • Tournament drawstring backpack
  • Volunteer credential and lanyard (valid all week)
  • Volunteer parking pass (valid all week)
  • Additional guest general admission tickets (valid any one day)
  • Complementary meals during volunteer shifts
  • Option to purchase an additional shirt

Please note: Travel and lodging expenses are not provided.

 

All proceeds from the championship are donated to the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation. Since the inaugural event in 2016, the American Family Insurance Championship has raised nearly $15 million distributed to the American Family Children’s Hospital and distributed through 700 other charitable grants to nonprofit organizations.

 

Steve Stricker will announce the proceeds from the 2023 American Family Insurance Championship on Wednesday, December 20, at an event at American Family national headquarters in Madison.
